Old Fiat sedan beneath a collapsed roof in an abandoned barn in Italy

Through a brick built round arch, the view opens into a dark barn whose roof beams have partly collapsed. A dark Fiat sedan stands at the centre, its number plate still legible, surrounded by rubble, crates and old furniture. Only a narrow shaft of light from the background lifts the scene, dust covering everything. The symmetry of the archway reinforces the sense of a space left to itself for a long time.
