Disused railway bridge with rusting steel arches spanning a waterway in the Netherlands

The steel structure lines up in even arches above the track, which leads into the distance overgrown with moss and grass. Rust has settled in orange streaks over the riveted girders, while the evening light bathes the scene in warm gold. On either side the view opens onto calm water and flat grassland. The symmetrical repetition of the arches gives the disused line an almost cathedral like presence.
