Wreck of an old houseboat with dense growth on its roof along a canal in Germany

Seen from the middle of the canal, the boat sits slightly askew between tall bank side trees that nearly close off the view of the sky. Tall grass and reeds grow on the deck, their stalks outlined against the morning light. The white hull side is marked by damp and verdigris, small windows lying in the shadow of the vegetation. The calm canal water mirrors the trees and makes the scene appear almost motionless.
