Forgotten railway bridge with hanging vines in Veneto, Italy

The steel truss construction forms a long, tapering tunnel of rusting struts and rivets. Trailing green has pushed in from the sides toward the centre of the bridge and hangs over the overgrown trackbed. Weathered wooden sleepers and rusting rails recede into the depth of the frame, accompanied by narrow walkways on either side. The even pattern of the struts reinforces the length and narrowness of the structure.
