Abandoned railway station with a neoclassical facade in Sukhumi, Abkhazia, Georgia
The station's grand facade, with its columns and arched windows, has lost most of its yellow paint, plaster crumbling at the corners. Overgrown tracks lie in front, tall grass and shrubs growing between the sleepers. Scattered trees rise behind the building, while the cloudy sky casts an even brightness over the scene. The building's once central importance is still clearly legible in the expansive symmetry of its architecture.
