Two large ship hulls lie close together in the calm harbour water, connected by taut mooring lines. The hull on the right shows broad bands of rust in red and black, while the one on the left carries a pale blue superstructure and antenna masts. The water's surface mirrors both ships almost perfectly, only slight ripples disturbing the image. A cloudy sky hangs over the scene, deepening the muted colour mood of the abandoned harbour.
