Forgotten church with ribbed ceiling in the forest in Italy

Through a pointed arch frame, the view opens onto a dark blue patterned ribbed ceiling, at whose edge a tall window with red stained glass sits. To the right, a small, blue-painted niche with a triangular pediment is visible, its color badly faded. Dense foliage presses in from outside all around, so that architecture and forest merge into one another. The combination of dark pattern and green frame gives the scene an almost submerged mood.
