Abandoned church bathed in golden light in Italy

A church interior bathed in warm, golden light leads up a wide staircase to an inner altar area framed by three round arches on slender columns. A dark wooden pulpit box hangs on the wall to the left, while a pointed wooden cabinet topped with a cross stands to the right. Scattered benches lie loosely across the floor, the plaster on the walls showing large reddish discolorations. The light lends the decaying room an almost warm calm.
