Chapel with two statues at the altar in Italy

A small, semicircular apse with a cracked dome and an oval skylight closes off a narrow chapel space. Two painted wooden figures stand on either side of a plain altar table, with a pale blue patch of paint on the wall behind hinting at a former mural. A low, green-painted balustrade separates the raised altar area from the rest of the room, fine debris covering the floor. Soft light from the skylight opening accentuates the curve of the apse.
