Covered passage with red walls overlooking a lake, Italy
Red plaster peels away from the walls in large patches, curved shapes of old stucco frames still visible above the door and window. A plain metal bench stands at the edge of the passage, its stone floor scattered with pale flecks of fallen plaster. At the far end, the view opens onto the lake and the mountains beyond.
