Bedroom with a turquoise domed ceiling in a villa abandoned for decades in Portugal
An octagonal wooden ceiling in faded turquoise arches over a bed with a dust-covered mattress and piled pillows. A carved headboard and a dresser with a mirror stand against walls whose plaster has flaked away in stripes. An open window reveals a view of dense greenery, a chair standing before it. Two framed pictures hang askew on the wall beside the dresser.
