Carved wooden hall with a gallery in a restored castle in Transylvania, Romania
Dark, richly carved wood covers the walls, columns and a surrounding gallery with a balustrade on the upper floor. A wide staircase rises in the background, flanked by relief-carved wall panels. The tiled floor shows a fine geometric pattern running across the whole hall. Unlike many abandoned rooms in this series, this hall appears cared for and intact.
