Bedroom with a red bed canopy in the historic Villa Siotto Pittor near Bergamo, Italy
A carved wooden bed stands beneath a red canopy, its fabric hanging from the wall in heavy folds. A dresser with a mirror and a framed portrait stand beside it, while a chandelier hangs from the ceiling. A sheer curtain stirs in the light at the window. The wallpaper on the walls peels away in wide strips, cracks running across the ceiling.
