A fresco of clouds, birds and garden motifs covers the walls and ceiling of a room where large sections of plaster have broken away. A bright doorway at the centre leads to the next room, and a window with half-closed shutters sits on the right. Dust and plaster fragments gather on the floor, and a painted vase is still partly visible on the left. The painted sky landscape and the real decay overlap in this image.
