Decayed animal hides hang draped over wooden transport carts, their edges torn and darkened. The carts stand scattered across a tall hall lit by large windows and a glazed gallery in the background. Some hides already lie loose on the floor. The stillness of the room stands in contrast to the former activity of a tannery.
