Old pump machinery in the generator room of an industrial ruin in Italy

Several massive pump units stand in a row on brick plinths, their pipes branching into large elbow joints. Evening light falls at an angle through tall diamond-patterned windows, drawing bright stripes across the weathered wall. Wooden switch panels still hang on the sides, their dials barely legible. Dust and rust lie evenly over every surface.
