Old grinding drums of a mill in a dark room in Italy

Two large, barrel-like drums of wood and metal face each other, connected by a gear mechanism of red cast iron. The surfaces are heavily rusted and partly broken open, the wood splintering at the edges. A single stone base carries the gearing in the middle of the small room. Damp, dark walls enclose the scene in an almost claustrophobic way.
