Seen from above, a stone spiral staircase narrows funnel-like downward toward a small window. The walls are smoothly plastered and carry remnants of blue paint at the lower section, flaking away. Cracks run across the curved surface. The shape creates an almost hypnotic pull toward the centre of the frame.
