VILLA MAUROGORDATO

Greenhouse with a wrought iron pediment at an abandoned villa in Italy

The facade of a greenhouse with an elaborately decorated wrought iron pediment and a central round arched entrance is covered in flowering vines. The glazing bars are partly broken and partly hidden by leaves, and the metal shows clear traces of rust. An ornamental crest relief sits above the entrance. Trees frame the building on both sides, leaving only the central passage open.
