Concentric concrete rings inside an abandoned cooling tower in Belgium

Numerous concentric concrete rings stack into a funnel-shaped space that tapers toward a small, brightly lit point. The surfaces are rough and pitted, with fine vertical grooves left by the formwork. Grey and beige tones dominate the image, broken only by the warm light at the centre. The strict repetition of the rings creates an almost hypnotic sense of depth.
