A brick-vaulted hall roof with x-shaped, moss-covered steel struts in an industrial ruin in Italy
Brick vaults run in regular arches across the roof of a wide hall, broken by narrow slits of light. On both sides, massive moss-covered steel struts cross into an x-shaped structure. The warm red and brown tones of the brick meet the cool green of the patina. The mirror-symmetrical arrangement reinforces the industrial weight of the roof.
