Abandoned funicular cabin at a station staircase in the Alps, Italy

The turquoise cabin of the funicular stands askew on its rails in front of a weathered stone wall, the paint peeling away in large patches. Beside it, a wide stone staircase leads up to a covered platform with a visible wooden roof frame. The cabin's windows and doors are partly broken, their frames rusted. Surrounding trees reach into the frame from the side, hinting at how far nature has already reclaimed the place.
