Blue chapel of a rural estate in Italy
A small chapel kept in shades of blue shows a richly stuccoed altarpiece with two small putti figures and a radiating ornament above its center. On the right, a red curtain hangs over an open door, while on the left, faint light reflects in an empty, decorated frame. The plaster on the walls is stained and discolored in shades of green, the floor largely bare and dusty. The cool coloring of the room remains coherent despite the decay.
