Abandoned church with floral ceiling painting in Italy
From a curved wooden gallery, the view opens onto an elaborately painted barrel vault with floral bands in orange, green, and gold. A small altar table with a red drape stands at the edge of the gallery, round windows with colored glass letting in additional light. The gallery balustrade is made of dark wood and sweeps through the space in a wide curve. The rich ornamentation of the ceiling remains clearly visible despite the flaking paint.
