Abandoned church with a collapsed roof in Italy
The view runs through a tall church nave toward a semicircular, white-toned apse with ribbed wall pilasters. Above the central aisle, the roof structure has partly collapsed, dark wooden beams hanging broken between the rafters. Stained glass windows in red, blue, and yellow line both sides of the room, casting colored light onto a pile of roof debris on the floor. Despite the open ceiling, the clear articulation of the apse remains intact.
