Overgrown cloister of a monastery in Italy

An arcaded corridor with evenly spaced round arches recedes into the depth, its columns largely wrapped in dense ivy. The paved floor is overgrown with greenery, and at the far end the corridor opens onto bright daylight and further trees. The plaster on the arches is stained and partly flaked down to the base material. Despite the vegetation, the row of arches remains clearly legible as an architectural ordering principle.
