Overgrown courtyard of a monastery in Portugal
A brick archway opens into a narrow passage entirely canopied by branches, vines, and dense foliage. Sunlight breaks through the leaf cover, casting bright patches onto ground littered with broken brick and soil. Further archways appear in the background between the branches, the reddish masonry seeming almost organic beneath the growth. The former passageway has become a green tunnel.
