Ivy-covered concrete niche with a round ceiling opening in a paper mill in Italy

Two ivy-wrapped pillars frame a bare concrete niche, its ceiling broken by a circular opening. Roots hang down through it toward a barred window almost entirely covered in ivy. The floor disappears beneath a dense carpet of ivy leaves. The round shape of the ceiling opening and the concrete's straight edges stand calmly against the encroaching growth.
