A narrow light well with facing window openings in an abandoned holiday camp in Italy
The view runs up a narrow, multi-storey shaft whose walls taper in sharp diagonals toward a distant point of light. Paired window openings with timber cladding and glazing bars interrupt the concrete surfaces. Warm ochre tones alternate with cool blue-grey depending on where sunlight strikes the surface. The x-shaped composition makes the shaft read almost like an architectural prism.
